Delwyn D. Dopp, 75, of Billings, Montana and formerly of Aurora, Iowa died on Wednesday evening, August 24, 2011 in Billings, Montana

Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the United Methodist Church in Aurora, Iowa; Officiating: Rev. John C. Brockschinck; Visitation: from 4;00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 7 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein, Iowa and after 10:00 A.M. on Thursday at the church; Inurnment will be at a later date.

A Memorial Fund has been established in his name

Delwyn Dale Dopp was born on December 17, 1935 at the family home at Lamont, Iowa. the son of Earl LeRoy and Deleva Ardus (Cook) Dopp. He graduated from Lamont High School at Lamont, Iowa in 1953. While in high school he played basketball and was known as “The Big Gun”. He married Barbara Irene Chapman on May 27, 1956 at the United Methodist Church at Arlington, Iowa. Del was a truck driver and later owned and operated Del’s Feed and Supply in Aurora, Iowa for many years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Aurora, Iowa. Del and Barbara moved to Billings, Montana in 2005 where they attended the Hope Methodist Church. Del enjoyed his family, his grandchildren, his friends and many years of fishing on the Mississippi River.

Del is survived by: Wife—Barbara Dopp of Billings, Montana Children—Dave Dopp of Oelwein, Iowa Lori (Jamie) Kemp of Billings, Montana Sheri (Ed) Fasig of Dallas Center, Iowa Randel (Michelle) Dopp of Cedar Rapids, Iowa 13 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren Brother—Kenneth (Leone) Dopp of Oelwein, Iowa

He was preceded in death by his Parents and a Brother (Dale Dopp).
