(July 1, 1941 - November 24, 2014)

Jerry L. DeGraw, 73, of Hazleton, Iowa, died Monday morning, November 24, 2014, at Grandview Health Care Center in Oelwein.

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Saturday, November 29, 2014, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein with Lonnie Brewer officiating.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday and after 9:30 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment: Hazleton (Fontana) Cemetery, Hazleton, Iowa.

Jerry Lee DeGraw was born July 1, 1941, at Oelwein, Iowa, the son of Lee Harold and Mary B. (Garver) DeGraw. He attended the Hazleton Consolidated School in Hazleton. Jerry enjoyed studying the Bible and singing religious songs.

Jerry is survived by his brother, Ralph (Elaine) DeGraw of Delhi; 2 sisters, Bethena (Charles) Whitesell of Hazleton and Elsie (Charles) Walker of Oelwein; 3 nephews, Jeremiah DeGraw, Jonathan DeGraw and Mark Cadena; 2 nieces, Jennifer Brewer and Deborah Cadena-DeGraw; and many great nieces and nephews .

He was preceded in death by his parents.
