Mariann F. Hepker, 72, of Coggon, Iowa died Wednesday morning, February 2, 2011 at her home near Coggon, Iowa.

Mariann was born on April 30, 1938, in Toledo, Iowa the daughter of Leo and Bessie (Izek) Hepker.

She attended the Toledo Schools, and was united in marriage to Don Charles Hepker on June 13, 1964 in Davenport, Iowa. She farmed and milked cows in the Center Point area until her husband’s retirement from Wilson Foods in Cedar Rapids. They then moved to the Coggon area to continue farming on a smaller scale. She loved to gardening, farming, and taking care of her family.

She is survived by her Husband Don, a son Rick (Connie) Kaufman, Central City, IA, two daughters; Lisa (Ira) Parizek, Rowley, IA, Lorie (Jack) McMurray, Hiawatha, IA, a step daughter, Valorie Tolefson, Bonaparte, IA. Six grandchildren, two step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, four brothers; Melvin (Julie) Kaufman, Winthrop, IA, Leroy Kaufman, Farmington, NM, Larry (Velma) Kaufman, Center Point, IA, and Gary (Linda) Kaufman, Toddville, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents,and an infant son; Brian.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Winthrop, IA where friends may call from 11 to services. Burial will be held at a later date.
