COLE, LANGGLADWIN, BROWN, WARREN, KLEVER, GLADWIN, FREDERICK, WELCH

INDEPENDENCE (Special) —.Mrs. Mary Cole, 84,
Independence, died Jan. 18 at the Independence Care Center.

She was born Oct. 17, 1889 at Strawberry Point, the daughter of John and Edith Lang'Gladwin.
After attending Normal Training school at Cedar Falls and teaching in rural schools, she
married Earls S. Cole in Waterloo on June 18, 1912.

She was a member of the First United
M e t h o d i s t C h u r c h ,Independence.

Survivors include: two sons,Robert and Oliver, both of Independence; three daughters,
Mrs. Claude (Beulah) Brown,Nevada, Mo.; Mrs. Robert(Velma) Warren, Pacific Grove,Cal.; Mrs. Arnold (Iva) Klever,Higginsville, Mo.; one brother,William Gladwin, Oelwein; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Frederick,Strawberry Point; Mrs. Leslie (Dorothy) Welch, Arlington; 10
grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren
and one great great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents,her husband in 1947 and one grandson.

Funeral services were held Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. at the White Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Bernard G. Olson officiating.

Burial was in the Campton Cemetery, Lamont.
