JESUP — Jean A. Sheedy, 60, of Ottumwa, formerly of Jesup, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, at home.

She was born Sept. 30, 1950, in Independence, daughter of Edward William and Beulah Mae DeMoss Kemp. She married Patrick William Sheedy on May 26, 1996. He died Oct. 13, 2004.

Mrs. Sheedy graduated from Jesup High School in 1969. She was a Realtor with First Choice Realty and was a member of St. Mary of the Visitation, Ottumwa.

Survived by: a daughter, Roberta Lombardi (David) Marrs of Ottumwa; three grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; and four sisters, Mary Ellen Speer McNeal of Byron, Ga., Janice Graham of Waterloo, Lynne Kemp of Naples, Fla., and Leigh Ann James of Ottumwa.

Preceded in death by: two sisters, Willa Mae Thiry and Judith Lee Hoye; and a brother, Allan Kemp.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Visitation, Ottumwa, with burial at 3 p.m. in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo. Public visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday at Reece Funeral Home, Ottumwa, with the family present from 3 to 5 p.m., followed by a Christian wake service at 5 p.m.
