Seth Wyatt Sheldon, the son of Dan and Danielle Sheldon of Oelwein, was stillborn on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

Memorial service: will be 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, with Russ Nesbit officiating. The family will greet friends and relatives following the service.

Memorials may be directed to the family at P.O. Box 202, Hazleton, IA 50641.

In addition to his parents, Seth is survived by grandparents Dennis Johnson of Parkersburg and Kathryn “Kim” Johnson of Waterloo, Joy Sheldon of Hazleton and Daniel Sheldon, Sr. of Stewartville, Minn.; great grandparents Ivadell Meester of Grundy Center and Barbara Johnson of Parkersburg; Doris Markin of Hazleton and Perry and Carol Sheldon of Rochester, Minn.; an aunt Alicia Sheldon of Hazleton, uncle Dennis “D.J.” (Staci) Johnson and cousin William Johnson, both of Waterloo.

Seth was preceded in death by great grandfathers Wayne Johnson, Daniel Meester and Arnold Markin, Sr. and his great grandmother Shirley Ann Messerer.
