LAMONT - Thomas L. Gresham, 91, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids, following a short illness.
Funeral services will be in Hopkinsville, Ky., with burial in Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Hopkinsville. The Maddux Funeral Home of Hopkinsville is handling funeral arrangements in Kentucky and the Fawcett Funeral Homes and Cremation Services of Lamont handled local arrangements.
Thomas L. Gresham was born Sept. 25, 1915 at Hopkinsville, Ky., the son of John and Letrice Mitchell Gresham. Thomas served with the U.S. Army Infantry during World War II. He married Katharina Maria Meindl Feb. 21, 1989, at Independence. During his lifetime Thomas worked as a security guard and farm worker.
Survivors include his wife Kay of Lamont, his sister Margaret Sartin of Bowling Green, Ky., and his brother Charles Gresham of Kentucky.
