INDEPENDENCE - Mary Marguerite (McElroy) Bagby, 89, of Independence, Iowa died Monday, November 19, 2007, at Buchanan County Care Center Long Term Care in Independence following a short illness.
She is survived by her children, Larry (Irene) Bagby of Fairfax, Virginia; Don (Diana) Bagby of Dubuque; Ron (Kathy) Bagby of Omaha, Nebraska; Dr. Martin (fiancée Sheila Moore) Bagby of Dubuque; Dennis Bagby of Dallas, Texas; Ken (Donna) Bagby of Independence; and Kevin (Mary) Bagby of Manchester. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Monday at St. John the Evangelist Church in Independence, with Rev. Aloysius J. Vorwald officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Masonville, Iowa.
Friends may call from 2-8 PM Sunday at Reiff Funeral Home in Independence, where a rosary will be recited at 3 PM and a parish vigil service will be held at 7 PM Sunday
