INDEPENDENCE – Frances J. Pint, 101, of Independence, Iowa died Tuesday evening, December 11, 2007, at the Buchanan County Health Center in Independence following a short illness.
She is survived by four children, Richard (Earlene) Pint of Independence, Evelyn (Everette) Walshire, of Mechanicsville, Raymond (Marge) Pint of Erie, CO. and Patricia (Loren) Buls of Waterloo; 13 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, December 15, 2007, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Independence with Rev. Aloysius J. Vorwald officiating. Burial will be in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 4-7:30 PM Friday at the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory in Independence where a rosary will be recited at 4 PM and a parish Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 PM Friday.
