Mrs. Josephine Bickford died at her grandfather's home June 4, 1880. She was born in Prairie City Aug. 9th, 1861.

She moved with her mother to Independence, Iowa where she has since lived. Aug. 18, 1878 she was married to J. M. Bickford. J. Minchell of Prairie City is her grandfather. She leaves a husband, mother and a sister.
