A quiet wedding took place at the Immaculate Conception Church in Masonville, Wednesday morning, June 14, at 6 o'clock, when Father Murphy united in marriage Mr. Chas. Murphy and Miss Alice O'Connor.

The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Pat O'Connor, living east of town. She has been a successful teacher for several terms and for the past two years had been clerking in the Logan store in Independence.

The groom has been engaged in teaching and is a younger man well worthy the bride he has won. Both bride and groom are well and favorably known here, having lived in this vicinity most of their lives.

They left immediately after the ceremony for a wedding trip to the West, and after July 15,will be at home to their many friends on a farm north of Winthrop. Their host of friends extend hearty congratulations and best wishes.(1922)
