As his was likely one the first burials on the family cemetary there are likely few existing records of his burial. There is an abundance of information on this family in Familysearch family tree and probably other sites and archives. Beware of confusion with his sons who have a similar name.
The WPA database of burials lists him but also claims he participated in the Mexican War but that is not yet been confirmed. It is known that he was in the war of 1812 as a young man. I can mail some information I downloaded and and printed.
