DEGELAU : Any information - Rare family name

DEGELAU - I have not found any census records at all for the DEGELAU family. The only thing that I have found is SSDI and a few family trees online that I cannot confirm to be accurate.

I have know idea when this family came to the US, but the first record I can find from the DEGELAU name is a marriage of Friedrich (Fred) DEGELAU in 1895. He remarried again in 1899 to Mary or Minnie Mueller.

I would think that there would be some church documents on this family, as my grandmother has always been devoutly Lutheran, and I would assume her parents had been as well.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you :)
