The remains of Mrs. Catherine Rockwood, who died at her home in Marionville, Mo., Thursday,Jan. 16, arrived here Saturday. Brief funeral services at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.H. Belding, were in charge of Rev. Glen McMichael.
Catherine Bunney was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., March 2, 1845. She was married to James Rockwood at Waucoma in 1870. He preceded her in death by eleven years.
One daughter died in infancy. Surviving members are her daughter Mrs. H.H. Belding of Waucoma, Mrs. Ashton House of Marionville, Mo., and one son, C.B. Rockwood, Sapulpa, Okla. Out of town relatives attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rockwood of Spulpa, Okla., Mrs. James Clark of Esterville, Mr. and Mrs. Ashton House of Marionville, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Glime of Arlington.
