It is possible that there are no cemetary markers remaining if there were any orginally. Several web sites indicate that many of the children of this family died presumably young. There are no vital records in Iowa other than marriages prior to 1880. There is likely no probate record or guardianship for Phoebe Agnes Beard as William, her husband remarried and moved to Minnesota then Arkansas. There is a slight possibility that he was a civil War vet and may have filed a pension application. That is easily checked.
