WAVERLY — Linda Dianne Whiteside, 62, of Waverly, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Waverly Health Care Center.

She was born Jan. 17, 1948, in Waverly, daughter of Edward and Jennie Sophia Bohlen Bruns. She married Robert Whiteside Feb. 15, 1997, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Waverly.

Mrs. Whiteside graduated from Waverly-Shell Rock High School in 1966 and then graduated from beauty college. She worked for herself as a beautician, for Guys and Dolls Beauty Salon, Waverly Plastics, and most recently at RADA Manufacturing, Waverly.

She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, Waverly.

Survived by: her husband; a son, Troy Long of Waverly; two stepdaughters, Sarah (Scott) Dralle of Greene and Jennifer (Steve Hennick) Whiteside of Nashua; a stepson Chris (Stacie) Whiteside of Nashua; a brother, Virgil Bruns of Janesville; a sister, Janice Reichert of California; and 10 stepgrandchildren.

Preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Edith Spurrier; and a brother, Marvin Bruns.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, with burial in Harlington Cemetery, both in Waverly. Public visitation on Wednesday at the funeral home, where family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m.
