TRIPOLI - Tripoli's oldest resident, Mrs. Caroline Schellhorn, 94, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louie Washkat, Tripoli, at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, from complications of advanced age. She would have been 95 Wednesday.

She is survived by a total of 223 descendants - 11 children, 59 grandchildren, 139 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Surviving children are Fred Schellhorn, Waverly; Mrs. Minnie Kammeyer, Sumner; Mrs. Herman Pries, La Porte City; Mrs. Lena Zander, Waterloo; Mrs. Emma Essmann, Waterloo; Henry Schellhorn, Waverly; Mrs. Hulda Zander, Tripoli; Miss Louise Schellhorn, Waverly; Ernest Schellhorn, Waterloo; Mrs. Louie Washkat, Tripoli; and Mrs. Malinda Borchert, Waverly.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. from the Rettig funeral home and at 2 from Grace Lutheran church in Tripoli. Burial, will be in St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery at Siegel.
