WAVERLY -- Donald “Donny” J. Ledesma, 33, of Waverly, died Friday, Sept. 13, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Waterloo.

He was born in Waverly on Aug. 22, 1980, son of Paul and Ione Thoms Ledesma.

Mr. Ledesma attended Waverly-Shell Rock High School. He worked for the City of Waverly for 10 years and Power House Retail Services in Horton. He was currently employed with Nagle Signs, Cedar Falls.

Survived by: a daughter, Mallory Ledesma of Waverly; his parents of Waverly; and his grandmother, Consuelo Ledesma of Oelwein.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Anthony “Tony;” and his grandparents, Ida and Ernst Thoms and Felipe Ledesma.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, with burial in Harlington Cemetery, both in Waverly. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
