Chas. Bremer was born in Germany Oct. 19th, 1840, came to this country in 1870, settling in Leroy Twp., this county, and died at his home in said township Monday afternoon, Sept. 16, 1895. He was critically sick three weeks and an antemorten surgical operation revealed a cancerous condition of the intestines. The funeral was held Wednesday from Rev. Theo. Hendschke's church of which deceased was a member his pastor officiating. Deceased leaves a wife, two sons, and two daughters - one at home and the other Mrs. Fred Keding to mourn the great loss of a husband and father. Wm. Bremer of this city is a brother of Charles. Mr. Bremer was a man of honor and integrity, and his death will be felt by the whole community in which he lived and moved.
