Alice Ann (Watson) Joslin – September 17, 1861 – September 29, 1945

Waverly – Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Ann Joslin, 84, who died at the University Hospital at Iowa City Saturday, were here Tuesday. Burial was in Andrew’s Cemetery.

She was born September 17, 1861, at Keota, Illinois, daughter of George and Elizabeth Watson. She married William Newton Joslin on September 1, 1882 in Kansas. They came to Bremer County and lived on a farm north of town 63 years.

She leaves three daughter; Mrs. Elizabeth Derth, Bloomington, Illinois; Mrs. Florence Martineck, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Mabel Miller, Waterloo; two sons; Elmer, Waverly; William, whereabouts unknown; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
