Obituary—Margaret L. Madden
Margaret L. Madden, daughter of George W. and Elizabeth Madden was born in Bedford Co., Va., Nov. 28, 1853 and passed away at the home of Mrs. and Mrs. Geo. Rowe where she was making her home, Jan. 4th, 1929.

She was taken sick Dec. 22nd with influenza which developed pneumonia. All that medical skill and loving care could do was done for her but to no avail and she passed peaceably away to be with the Savior whom she loved and had served all these years. Her age being 75 years, 1 mo. 7 days.

She was a member of the United Brethren Church and her place in Sunday School and church services was always filled unless hindered by sickness, which was not often. Of a kindly disposition she was always ready to help where help was needed and the memory of aunt Maggie will long be cherished by her friends.

She leaves to mourn her loss ten half brothers and sisters, a host of relatives and friends. Her father and mother, one brother and sister have preceded her in death.
