MRS. EMIL BERGMANN
FREDERICKSBURG — Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon for Mrs. Emil Bergmann at the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Siegel with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. W. Gies officiated and Rettig Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Viola Gebert Bergmann was born on August 22, 1907, daughter of Wilhelm and Hulda Gebert, in Douglas Township, Bremer County.

On October 7, 1934, she was married to Emil Bergmann at the St. John Evangelical Church in Siegel. They lived on a farm in Douglas township where she died of a heart attack on Friday, January 30. Surviving her are her husband, Emil; one daughter, Shirley, Mrs. Merle Mack and husband of Frederika; three sisters, Mrs. Art Hoeper of Waverly, Mrs. Harry Bockhaus of Frederika, Mrs. Wilbur Dimmit of Waterloo. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister in infancy.
