ROBERT AUBREY
Robert Russell Aubrey, 54, of 13409 S. E. McLaughlin Blvd., Milwaukee, Ore., died Wednesday, Mar. 23, at his home of a heart attack. Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor James Mendenhall officiating.

Mr. Aubrey was born on Feb. 13, 1923 in Sumner. He had lived in the Anchorage, Alaska area for 29 years before moving to Oregon last December. He was an optometrist and had served in the U.S. Army as a cook and medical technician.

He was a charter member of the Methodist church in Anchorage and a member of the Anchorage Good Sam Club.

On Jan 17, 1947, he married Susan Janette Briggs in Illinois. They were the parents of a son and two daughters.

Funeral services were held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 13, at the Emerson-Milnes Funeral Home in Sumner with interment at the Lutheran Cemetery in Sumner,

Surviving are his wife, Susan; two daughters, Audrey Zeller of Jefferson, Ore., and Rhonda Sullivan of Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska; four grandchildren; an uncle, Claude Aubrey of Sumner; and cousins in Tripoli, Hawkeye, Sumner, and Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robyn, in 1968; his father, Paul O. Aubrey; his mother, Medora Ellsworth Aubrey Benson; and a brother Duane.
