Lloyd Waterman, 53, Tripoli, died of a heart attack at his home on June 7 (1974).
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 12 at the Rettig Funeral Hone with Rev. Keith Selberg officiating. Burial was in Fremont cemetery. Military rites were conducted by Brandenburg Krueger V.F.W. Post.
Mr. Waterman was born in Bremer county, Iowa on October 17, 1920, the son of Calvin and Elida Ernst Waterman. He was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by three sons, Gary of Nashua, David of Waterloo and Steven of Chicago; and by one daughter, Mrs. Carol Kenniker of Indianapolis, Ind. (Correction: should read Porter, Indiana)He is also survived by five sisters, Mrs. Paul Rettig and Louise Waterman of Tripoli;Mrs. Everett Williams of rural Waverly, Mrs. Rosalea Gwynn of Cedar Falls and Mrs. Marvin Olson of Minneapolis, Minn.; and by one brother, Everett of Tripoli.posted June 1974 probably Waverly Democrat
