1910 OBITUARY: SUMNER GAZETTE OCT 30, 1910

Mrs. John Voight Caroline Fink was born in Wisconsin in 1853 and came to Sumner as a child. She was married to Fred Anderman and to them were born four children, Mrs. Torrey and Mrs, Bergman of Friedricksburg, Mrs. Englehart and WIllis Anderman of Oelwein. She was married on March 11,1883, to Albert Rowe who died in 1888. To this Union were born Gertrude who died in 1899 at the age of 11 years, and Roy who died in 1911 at the age of 19 yrs. On August 5, 1896, she contracted a thrid marriage taking as her husband John F. Voight. He preceeded her in death only 13 days as Mr.Voight passed away on Oct. 10, 1910. Mrs. Voight followed on Oct. 22, 1910, her spirit taking its flight at shortly past 11 o'clock at night, after a sickness of over two years, beginning with a slight wound in one of her feet which became infected with blood poisoning. Her age was 57 yrs 5 months and 6 days. Mrs. Voight was an estimable women, who made many friends and kept them during the long years she resided in Sumner. In addition to the children mentioned she leaves a sister Mrs. Keller, living in Nebraska and four brothers. After the death of Mr. Voight, she said she never expected to recover and be well. The deceased was a member of the United Brethern Church, but because of the illness of its pastor, Rev, C.E. Weaver, who officiated at her husband's funeral, he could not do these services for the wife so Rev. Robt A. Paden at the Presbyterian Church officiated. The funeral was held at the residence on Pleasant Street, at ten o'clock yesterday morning and the burial was at Wilson Grove Cemetary

Caroline Fink married Fred Anderman in 1872, Had four children, Mrs.Englehart and Willis of Oelwein and Mrs. Torrey and Mrs. Bergman of Fredricksburg. She married Albert Rowe in 1883 had Gertie and Roy-both died young. Married John Voight in 1895-No children. Four brothers and one sister, Mrs Keller of Nebraska. FA was John Fink, Mothers name unknown, Born Wisconsin 16 JUNE 1853 DD 23 OCT 1910, Arteriosclerosis myocarditis, foot inflamation , for two years?? Member of United Brethren church however Rev Paden of the Presbyterian Church officiated. Buried in Wilson grove.
