Charles John Alfred Eriksson (C.J.A. Ericson)was a cousin to my great-grandmother. I have much information about him. He had three daughters by his first wife and none by his second.
His 2nd wife was born in Sweden. C.J.A. went to Princeton, Illinois and married her and came back to Boone, Iowa.
Her name could be Linderblood, since there are several buried in Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone; however, the History of Boone County, Iowa 1880 spells it Linderblad. You could probably find the spelling in the marriage records in Knox or Henry Counties in Illinois, since that is where most of the relatives lived. I have not researched it.
Swedes did some strange things with their names. My grandfather was Nilsson in Sweden and changed it to Blomgren in the U.S., while his brothers used Nilson and Nelson.
