Hi Grace,
I have no information regarding your specific query except that the sign leads to the Buttermore Lumber Mill, 907 J Avenue Boone, IA 50036. It is owned by Gary Buttermore, phone: 515-275-2011. The mill sales area is open from 8:30 to 5:00 Tues. through Sat.
I know this as I have purchased lumber there. Call him. He'll probably fill you in.
