My great Grandfather is Nils Gustaf Wilson (Olafsson) of Boxholm, Iowa. His first wife, Louisa Charlotte Anderson, died in childbirth. My grandmother, Ameilia Wilson, was their firstborn child. She married Warner Johnson, a Methodist minister, and had nine children the youngest of whom was my father, Russell Keith Johnson, an Episcopal priest. I have been searching for information on Nils Gustaf (N.G. Wilson) who was the son of merchant shippers who was apprenticed to a Mr. Shelby and who came to Boston, Massachusetts and eventually to Momence, Illinois and Boxholm, Iowa. N.G. and Louisa had four children who survived--Amelia, Hattie, Shelby, and Esther. He married his second wife, Clara Becktrom in 1900. He died in1923.
