Albert Witt was my ggrandfather. His obituary stated that his parents names were Marx and Minnie Witt. He had a brother named Edward and a sister named Catherine. His obit also said that he spent his early life at Boone and Jewell Iowa. He married Elizabeth Wickersham on February 20,1918. They later moved to Onawa, Iowa.
