Yes, this murder was solved. I can't remember all of the details, but I do remember their daughter (I think Kelly was her name) found her parents. The trial was in Fort Dodge, Iowa. I was only about 12 at the time. I believe it was a robbery where Mrs. Bargenquast surprised the robber. The young girl went to live with her brother and his wife, I think in Ogden, Iowa.
