Mrs Flossie (Bundy) Wisecup was born in Boone County in 1892. Funeral Services was held Sunday afternoon Dec 22, 1929 from the M.E. church in Woodward Iowa with the paster Rev P.A. Smith in Charge.
Pallbearers were W.P. Stumbo, H.C. Colonkey, Herman Finstead, Wil todd, W.M. Cooper and Lloyd Olson. Music was provided bt a quartet composed of Mrs Ray Cunningham, Mrs D.D. Convert, Frank Vernon, And O.C. Miller. Interment was made in the Woodward Cemetery.
Flossie Ione Bundy, youngest daughter of Thomas and Mary E. Bundy was born in Boone county Iowa June 7th 1892 and passed away at the Methodist hospital in DesMoines Iowa December 19, 1929 at the age of 37 years, 6months and 12 days.
She was married to Lester Wisecup Feb 10, 1909 and to them was born eight children-torence Wesley 10, Mary Olive 16,Winifred May 14, Howard Wilford 12, Kenneth Ray 10, Goldie Maxine 8, Darlene Ione 6, and Junior Douglas 3.
She was a true wife and loving mother, always ready to sacrifice for her family and others. She was invalid for some years, but bore it all with remarkable Christian fortitude and patience. When she learned that she could not recover she asked that her funeral be held in the Woodward Methodist Church and her body be laid to rest in the Woodward Cemetery.
She spoke with confidance of her future life and expressed a readiness to answer the call of the master. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband and eight children, her aged mother Mrs Mary E. Bundy, and seven sisters. Mrs Nat Miller, Mrs George Vancleve, Mrs W.F. Stumbo, Mrs Sam Wright, Mrs O.E. Fosher, Mrs Maggie Hays and two brothers John and Harry Bundy.
She will be greatly missed and grived for in the neighborhood where she spent her life, for to know her was to love her.
