Elmer Friedrichsen, 95, Perry, and formerly of the Bouton and Woodward areas, died Thursday at the Perry Lutheran Home. He was born Dec. 5, 1905, in Boone County, the son of Henry and Anna Meier Friedrichsen. He married Lois Klockentager July 16, 1941, in Des Moines.

He farmed in the Bouton and Woodward areas most of his life. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harvey, Leo and Harry; and one sister, Florence Hansen. Survivors include his wife of Boone; one daughter, Kathleen Friedrichsen of Boone; one brother, Harry Friedrichsen of Woodward; and one sister, Elsie Bristle of Ogden.
