Life Sketch:
Frank Hull, son of Jackson and Mary Hull, was born July 4, 1877 in Douglas township and departed this life October 1, 1952 at the age of 75 years, 2 months and 26 days. On February 28, 1900, he was united in marriage to Miss Minnie Boone. To this union were born two children, Mabel Marie and Everett Boone Hull. . .
At an early age, Mr. Hull moved with his parents to Worth township on a farm two miles west and one-half south of Luther, where he engaged in farming. For the past year, he and his wife have made their home with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Blomgren. Mr. Hull was preceded in death by his father, mother and two sisters and was the last of this pioneer family.
He united with the Meadow Grove Christian church February 15, 1892 at the age of 15 and later transferred to the Christian church in Luther when the churches merged . . .
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, two children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives who came from some distance were Mrs. D. E. Van Dolah and daughter, Judy Ann, Wichita, Kansas, Mrs. Merritt Bates, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Clarence Luther, Sioux City, and Mr. & Mrs. George R. Boone, Cedar Rapids. . .
Following the ceremony, a cortege of around one and a half miles in length escorted the remains to the Linwood cemetery for interment.
