John Hannigan dies at county home

Sometime during last Wednesday night (15 May 1923) at the Boone County Home John Hannigan passed away. Several years ago, he, with two brothers, Mike and William, resided on a farm in Amaqua township where the deceased will be well remembered. Mr Hannigan had been a resident of the home for several years and at the time of his passing he was 87 years old. The funeral was held from the Sacred Heart church at Boone Thursday and the remains laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery. (The Ogden Reporter, 24 May 1923)
