Clinton, Iowa, January 13, 1900Engineer Killed
Ed Fisk, one of the oldest engineers running out of Boone, was killed near Mechanicsville by falling from his engine, attached to No 1., the fat limited. He had gone back on the tender to ascertain if he had water enough to take him to Cedar Rapids , and it is supposed was blown from the tender. He leaves a wife and six children, who live in Boone.
