Owen Onstot, four months old, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at home.

Owen was born September 6, 2010, at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines to Matt and Rachel (Carson) Onstot. His favorite toy was his giant stuffed monkey.

Owen is survived by his parents, Matt and Rachel Onstot of Slater; his big brother, Nic Onstot; his big sister, Jenna Onstot both of Slater; his paternal grandparents, John and Mary Onstot of Madird; his maternal grandparents, Mark and Shelley Carson of Cambridge; his paternal great-grandma Evelyn Onstot of Nevada; his maternal great-grandpa Dennis (Arlene) Berry of Cedar Rapids; his maternal great-grandma Rosalie Berry of Baxter; his maternal great-grandpa Richard Carson of Cedar Rapids; his aunts and uncles, Joe Carson, Sarah (Bobby) Chubbic, Amy Onstot and Heather (Wes) Zylstra; his cousins, Kaylee and Tristan.

Owen was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Robert Onstot, Anna Carson, Ernie and Ethel Brown.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011, at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Private family graveside services will be held at the Cambridge Cemetery in Cambridge with Pastor David Burling officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Owen.
