Ray D. Myers, 86, of Luther, died Friday evening at his home. He was born in Boone County December 2, 1888, to Johnson and Hattie J. Shuffling Myers.

Survivors include one brother, Glenn of Boone; one sister, Mrs. Paul (Hazel) Thompson of Boone; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be January 21 at 2 p.m. at the Schroeder Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Goins officiating. Burial will be in the Squire Boone Cemetery.

Friends may begin calling today at the Schroeder Funeral Home.
