Anna Huenhold Succumbs Here; Funeral Friday

Mrs. August (Anna) Huenhold, 82, a long-time resident of Algona, died at her home Monday noon, she had been a hospital patient recently but was dismissed to her home about a week ago.

Funeral services are tentatively set for Friday at 2 p.m. in First Lutheran Church here. Rev. Edsel Isaacson will officiate and burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. McCullogh's Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Huenhold was the widow of a well-known greenhouse operator, August Huenhold, who died in May 1959.

She was born Anna Mindemann at Lotts Creek. Marriage to August took place May 3, 1900, and the couple lived in Algona all their married life.

Surviving are the son, Alvin (Tunnie) of Algona and two daughters, Mrs. Ira (Norma) Iverson and Mrs. Vic (Lulu) Sampson both of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
