EDWARD G. ECKHOFF

Edward G. Eckhoff, 86, 1410 Crawford Street, died Tuesday, May 12 at his home. He was bor May 19, 1894 in Boone County, the son of John Eckhoff and Katherine Murken Eckhoff.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Elizabeth; a daughter; three brothers; three half-brothers; a great-grandson and a step-granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Leona of Boone; a son, Edward Eckhoff, Garden Valley, Calif.; a step-son, Paul Pepper, Ogden; two daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Dorothy) Hood, Lakewood, Colo., and Lois Eckhoff of Boone; two step-daughters, Mrs. James (Milly) Neel of Boone and Mrs. Morry (Marjorie) Widetick, Aloha, Ore.; a sister, Matilda Forester, Salt Lake City, Utah; a half sister, Mrs. Everett Douglas, Covina, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be held Saturday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Schroeder Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Faga officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the Schroeders on Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.
