Magdalena S. Moeller, 98, died Aug. 14, 1977, at the Lutheran Home in Perry. She was born July 2, 1879, in Harrison Township, the daughter of Fred and Maria (Duever) Peter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, five brothers, two sisters, and an infant son and daughter.

Survivors include two sons, George and Albert of Boone; two daughters, Mrs. Caroline Krug and Mrs. Dorothea Poynter, Iowa City; a sister, Mrs. Clara Michel of Denver, Colorado; ten grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Maynard Spitzack officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Schroeder Funeral Home until 9 p.m. on Monday and from 8 a.m. until noon on Tuesday.
