George Kokemiller, 73, Boone, died Saturday evening at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Rt. 3, Boone. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.

Mr. Kokemiller was a farmer in Harrison Township, Boone, throughout his entire lifetime until he retired and moved to Boone in 1963.

Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; two sons, Fred and David, both of Luther; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Gretchen) Alverstad, Des Moines and Mrs. Jorden (Ruth Ann) Gertsen, Story City; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Carl, Story City, and five sisters, Mary Kokemiller, Story City; Mrs. Anna Mohr, Vinton; Mrs. Henry Hearther, Newhall; Mrs. John Fox and Mrs. Gerhard Hempel, both of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

The Schroeder Funeral Home, Boone, is in charge of arrangements.
