Suzanne J. Vaughan, 78, of Coralville passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009 at University Hospital in Iowa City, from pneumonia and other complications.
Funeral services are Thursday, June 4 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Iowa City. Visitation is Wednesday, June 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Donohue-Lensing Funeral Home in Iowa City.
Suzanne Vaughan was born in Kansas City, MO and moved to Ogden, Iowa shortly after. Her parents were Ray and Gladys Mill. Suzanne was a 1949 OHS graduate. She married Francis Vaughan of Ogden April 11, 1950.
Survivors include her husband, Francis Vaughan and four children; Matthew Vaughan of Kalona; Patrick Vaughan (and wife Selina) of Burbank, CA; Timothy Vaughan of Ft. Collins, Colorado; and Sally Vaughan of Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Suzanne enjoyed many activities, among them: sewing, bridge clubs, the Old Capital #136 Questers, volunteering at her church, and she loved music.
Suzanne will be sorely missed by everyone.
