Todd Lloyd Miller, age 45, of 312-2nd Street, died June 5, 2006 at the VA Central Iowa Health Care System in Des Moines. His body has been cremated and graveside services will be Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Boone Veterans Council.

Todd was born in Boone on June 11, 1960. He was the son of Garold "Lloyd" and Mary Jane (Nees) Miller. He attended Boone Community Schools and graduated from Ames High School. He attended DMACC in Ankeny. He served with the United States Navy from 1978 to 1981. He worked as a carpenter retiring in 1996 due to health reasons. Todd enjoyed carpentry, reading, and spending time with his family.

Todd was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Miller. He is survived by a son, Matthew Miller and a daughter, Andrea Miller, both of Boone; a grandson; his parents Lloyd and Mary Jane, a brother, Chris Miller and wife, Aleasa of Boone; a sister, Teresa Davis and husband, Matthew of West Des Moines; five nieces; a great nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call Wednesday at Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall from 5 to 8 p.m. where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
