Vicki Peterson, 80, formerly of Boone, died Dec. 11, 2004 at her home in Arvada, Colo.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Arvada United Methodist Church. Following the service, there will be a cremation.

Mildred L. "Vicki" Peterson was born in Eagle Grove to Cassius Virgil McVicker and Lydia Ann Badley.

She married Phillip James Peterson, April 2, 1949 in Eagle Grove. He preceded her in death March 5, 1990. Mrs. Peterson moved to Arvada, Colo, in 1992, where she sang with the Sweet Adelines group.

She is survived by her three daughters, Shari Peterson, Margaret "Madge" Peterson and Marilyn Peterson all of the Denver area; her sister Deloris Simkins of Eagle Grove; granddaughter Rachel and her husband Corey Huwa of Roggen, Colo; and grandson Corey Schmidt of Denver.

Funeral arrangements are with the Horan & McConaty Funeral Home of Denver, Colo.
