ARRINGDALE

BOONE - Ida Helen Arringdale, 99, Ledges Manor, died Jan. 29, 1989 at the manor. She was born Aug. 20, 1889 in South Dakota the daughter of E.A. and Alma Hitchcock Tinkham. She married John Arringdale Oct. 8, 1908 in Omaha, Neb.

Arringdale was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include four sons, Guy of Boone; John of Sandia, Texas; Burton of Davenport; and Jerry of Marshalltown; a daughter, Helen Aitchison of Boone; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Linwood Park Cemetery with David Borsos officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Schroeder Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangement and there will be no visitation.
