Amy Sprecher, 32, 1703 Marshall St., Boone, died Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines of cerebral hemorrhage. She was born May 6, 1969, in Warrensburg, Mo., the daughter of James and Sue (Davison) Hardinger. She married Orlan Sprecher Oct. 12, 1998, in Quincy, Fla.

She was a 1987 graduate of Boone High School and attended the Boone Campus of Des Moines Area Community College. She was a homemaker and child care provider. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Boone. Her hobbies included being with her family, and collecting family pictures and heirlooms. She also collected dolls, birdhouses and Dickens Village and enjoyed family activities, spending time with her dogs, spending time with her nieces and nephews and her day care children and spending time at Cross Lake, Minn. She carried on researching her family tree after her grandfather, Dayne, passed way.

She was preceded in death by her twin sons, James and Dane; and her grandfathers, Dayne Hardinger and Robert L. Davison. Survivors include her husband; her parents of Boone; one brother, Justin Hardinger of Ames; one sister and brother-in-law, Mandy and Neal Weers of West Des Moines; her mother-in-law and her father-in-law, Jeanette and Norman Sprecher of Ogden; two grandmothers, Jane Davison of Clarion and Simone Hardinger of Ankeny; one nephew; two nieces; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Richard Harken officiating. Burial will be in Squire Boone Cemetery.

Friends may call at Schroeder Memorial Chapel, Sixth and Marshall streets, Boone, Thursday from noon to 9 p.m. The family will be present to receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation continues Friday at the church from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Memorials may be given to the family to be used at their discretion.

Schroeder Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
