Linda K. Brown, 56, Boone, died Sunday at Boone County Hospital of complications of heart surgery. She was born June 7, 1945, in Boone, the daughter of Floyd w. and Nadine A. (Walker) Disbrowe. She married Ronald James Brown Aug. 9, 1963, in Boone.

The body has been cremated and no visitation or services are scheduled.

Schroeder-Walter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
