Patricia "Pat" Doran, 76, Beaver, died Wednesday at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames of congestive heart failure. She was born April 3, 1925, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Chester A. and Mary (Weaver) Scheerer. She married J.C. Doran May 18, 1945, in Boone.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone with the Rev. Ray Hoke officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone.

Friends may call at Stark-Welin Chapel Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. The family will be present to receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation continues Saturday at the funeral chapel from 8 a.m. until time of services.

Stark-Welin Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
