Dorothy G. Inman age 75 of Boone, entered into rest at her home in Boone on Monday, March 27, 2006.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2006 at the Augustana Lutheran Church of Boone. Rev. Daniel W. Solomon will officiate. Burial will be in the Linwood Park Cemetery of Boone.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29 at Schroeder ~ Walter Funeral Home, Fifth and Story Streets of Boone from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Family will be present Wednesday evening to receive friends at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday morning at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., then at the church from 12:30 p.m. to the time of service at 2 p.m.

Dorothy was born on August 4, 1930 in Boone County, the daughter of Dorr and Agnes (Samuelson) Lane. She attended school in Boone.

Dorothy married Keith Eugene Inman on December 27, 1945 in Boone. She was a devoted wife and homemaker. She worked part time in the Ben Franklin Store as a Sales Clerk and also at the Archway Cookie Company in the Production Line.

Dorothy was a member of the Augustana Lutheran Church of Boone and was active in her church. She enjoyed working with crossword puzzles and crocheting. She loved her dogs, which included a Poodle, Bichon, and Cocker Spaniel, she also had other breeds of dogs.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Thomas "Tom" Inman of Boone; her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Clyde Hovick of Ankeny; her granddaughter, Heather Malizia and her husband Rick of Weston, Fla.; her grandson, Slade Hovick of Ankeny; and her two great-grandchildren, Miles and Taylor Malizia of Weston, Fla.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her three sisters; her husband, Keith in 1997.

Memorial contributions may be given to Augustana Lutheran Church.

Schroeder ~ Walter Funeral Home, Fifth and Story Streets of Boone is in charge of the arrangements.
