Alfred B Hitchcock, farmer and stock-raiser, Sec 31, P O Boone, was born in Courtland, New York, March 10, 1847, where he was educated in high school, after leaving school he commenced farming, in the spring of 1868 he emigrated to Boone county, Iowa where he still lives, following farming, his farm consists of eighty acres of well improved land, nicely fenced, he was married in Boone county, Iowa to Miss Lucy Burlingame, by this union they have two children: Louis A (born November 17, 1872), and Alice E (born November 25, 1873)
